  Normally love this place but had a bit of a gripe this time hence the 3/5 rating. My partner and his friend qued up at the bar and they were stood there for half an hour. It wasn't massively busy as it is usually as it was a Monday (weekends can take a while to get served understandably) but according to them the barman kept overlooking them and I saw they only got served when about 95% of the other customers had been served and the bar was cleared of them (a LOT of them had only just gotten to the bar and got served way quicker than they did). I can appreciate it's hard to serve people absolutely correctly in the order they turn up but this one bar man seemed oblivious as he forget them for 30 mins on a off peak day, (partner also had agro with someone pushing in but that's not really firebugs fault) which really sucked as we would have liked to have gotten a few more drinks in before closing and it put a bit of downer on the night. We usually love this place but it's put us off from going in the evenings :( sorry :( I hope this is improved on as I usually really like this place. Will probably post Tripadviser review too so I apologise for duplicate comments in advance (google allows for better customer/business comms than TA so posting here first) xx

  Decent smoking area and good drinks also serves cocktails. Could do with a bit of sprucing up but good to stop into. Also has no strict dress code, very relaxed place.

  After arriving at 8pm into Leicester for a friend's birthday at 33 cank street me and my husband decided this would be our first place for a drink as taxi dropped us off outside there made sense just to nip in for a quick drink before I met my friend.. been in here quite a few times nothing special... but will never go back after the bight with our friends we went back there about 1am it's open till 4am so no problem getting in but some little plump lady who actually looked like she needed a good wash refused to serve me I was to drunk apparently had 4 drinks all night!!!! My husband straight the way called the manager over who said he couldn't go back on what she had said absolute disgrace appalling service
